SKATING TOMORROW! Please remember warm clothes, skates and a CSA approved helmet! There will be an alternate game happening in the gym at the community hall.
Today we had Rick Fraser, Cranston's MLA came visit! He stressed the importance of working together and strong relationships to solve problems and it was great to hear about what he does day to day too.
I have attached the document outlining the steps to complete complimentary course registration. Even if you don't think you will be at DGS next year, please complete it, as you never know what the future holds!
Students are reminded of the no dating rule at DGS. Families will be contacted if relationships are causing social issues between students or interfering with learning. Sorry for not posting yesterday. I could not get the blog to open on either of my laptops or my phone. I am having issues again today, so please ignore the post on the front page.
Reminder: Students are to bring a plain white t-shirt tomorrow for the flag picture. The flag day assembly is tomorrow and starts at 1:30 pm. All are welcome to attend! Students that are in the play are reminded to bring a nice dress shirt + tie if they have one. The past few days have been busy!

With this in mind, we are going to have to be flexible, as we will be setting some time aside to rehearse, and we will be probably holding after school rehearsals next week for the major roles. I am changing the tentative due date for our Space Colonization project to after teachers' convention. I think this is a really rich opportunity to do something for the school community, and learn a little about theatre, related to parliament.
